On Saturday, March 6, 2010, KidDilly of Northeast Pennsylvania will host the NEPA Kid’s Birthday Party Expo at the fomer ICE BOX, now the Adventure Zone and Backcourt Hoops/Electric City Plaza in Scranton.

This free event will take place from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM and is open to the public.

Exhibitors from all over the region will again gather to showcase their birthday party-related businesses and services.

This year, we have a few new surprises in store, including amazing illusions by Electric City DJs’ Christopher the Magician, glitter tatoos by Just Plain Crazy Face Art and Fun Faces Face Painting, cupcake samples by Cinnabon, cakes by Torrianna’s, a petting zoo by Black Horse Farm, Tux the mascott, giveaways, prizes, discounts, and so much more!

KidDilly invites families of all ages to participate in the Birthday Party Passport Game to win incredible prizes, including the grand prizes, a gorgeous Coach handbag for one lucky mom, and a Razor 360 Castor Bike (Parents Magazine 2009 Best Toy winner!!) for a lucky kid.

Even with the ground still blanketed with snow, many moms are thinking ahead to the lazy, hazy hot summer months around the corner.

Moms-in-the-know are already preparing answers to the inevitable “Mom, I’m bored,” declarations that are sure to follow soon after summer dismissal.

One great cure for the summer boredom blues is day camp, and if you reside in Lackawanna County, there are many options. Whether you’re choosing a camp to relieve a summer caretaker for a few hours, or to provide your child with an opportunity for memorable fun and friendship, enrichment or learning, there is a summer day camp for you.
